As long as women and girls are looked at as prey, nothing will change. She lied to him about her age. As if he didn't know she was a minor. And until the sexualisation of our society stops, this will continue to happen. Oh, right, it's only girls and women. Who cares? We're killed, raped, battered, sexually assaulted as a matter of course. 60 million schoolgirls worldwide are sexually assaulted each year on the way to school. If it was important to change it, it wouldn't happen.
Her lieing to him about her age is proberly just another excuse to try cover his ass. i personally know Shane Stoneham and yes along with many other girls i was one of his victims. when i was 15 (and he was well aware of my age) he made me sleep with him or he would physically abuse me. he made me wear short skirts, mentally and emotional tormented me by saying i was fat and ugly etc, he threatened to hurt my younger sisters if i didn't do what he wanted. I wasn't the only one at the time, he had roughly around 6 under aged "girlfriends" at the time, which he knew their ages also. He manipulated them in such away to make them feel sorry for him and like they needed him. I feel so ashamed and embrassed by this that i have never mentioned this before. This is the first time. Unlike the other girls i didn't meet him in a chatroom. He is a relative. It has been 8 years and i am still terrified and tormented by the thought of him.
